The #1 Summer Academy for Girls Who Want More Confidence, Stronger Friendships, & Real-Life Skills

About Our Camp
GLOW Summer Leadership Academy is more than just a camp - it's an experience that gives girls the tools to grow, lead, and thrive in every area of their lives.
From June 16 - July 10, our 4-week day camp (Monday - Thursday) provides a safe and empowering summer environment for girls who are rising 3rd graders - rising 9th graders.
*We provide volunteer peer mentor opportunities to our rising 10th - 12th-grade girls. Peer Mentors will receive community service hours and a recommendation letter. Email us at Glow@durhamshopeforkids.org
Enrolling your daughter in our camp means she'll gain:
-
The Confidence to Speak Up & Stand Tall – No more shrinking herself to fit in—she’ll walk away knowing her worth and owning her voice.
-
Friendships That Feel Supportive, Not Stressful – She’ll learn how to build and maintain real, healthy friendships—without the drama or insecurity.
-
Leadership Skills That Set Her Up for Success– Whether she’s shy or outgoing, she’ll discover her unique leadership style and how to step into her strengths.
-
The Tools to Handle Social Challenges With Confidence – Instead of letting peer pressure, comparison, or friendship struggles hold her back, she’ll know exactly how to navigate tough situations with self-trust and resilience.
-
A Mindset That Helps Her Thrive—In School, Friendships, and Life – She’ll leave camp with a stronger sense of self, the courage to take on challenges, and the belief that she is enough.
The Right Experience Can Change Everything.
A single week can shift the way she sees herself, her relationships, and her future. Instead of doubting herself, she'll be unshaken by what others think, sure of who she is, and ready to take on new opportunities.
No more second-guessing.
No more shrinking herself to fit in.
Instead of feeling overwhelmed by friendships, she'll know how to set boundaries, stand up for herself, and surround herself with people who celebrate her.
Instead of holding back, she'll trust herself enough to take risks, use her voice, and take on leadership roles.
With the right support, the right tools, and the right experiences, everything changes.
If that’s the future you want for her, then she is exactly the kind of girl who belongs at GLOW Leadership Academy.
Academy sessions are $150 per week. There is a $25 registration fee per camper per summer.
